So, you’ve had super sexy wifi installer over your campsite or holiday park for the last year or two now which is great.  But how do you know its working well, and is still safe?

Chances are you don’t.  Automated monitoring is all very well, but it cant tell you if water ingress has affected the pigtails, antenna and access point housing.  Maybe water is running down the CAT5 cable and damaging the Power Supply.  Maybe the mounting brackets are working lose.  Maybe they are rusting.  Maybe the mounting poles or posts are no longer anchored properly.  Maybe drip loops have not been installed on cable runs, or silicone sealant is wearing away.  How about the wrong CAT5 cabling being used, so its being damaged by UV and perishing?

There’s a lot of maybe’s.
